History of our Winery

Charles Usher Wines is a family owned boutique winery offering handcrafted small-lot wines. We are located along the Saratoga wine trail 3.5 miles from the Saratoga village.

Our wines are produced on site from Estate and locally grown Santa Cruz Mountain grapes, and from renown grape growing regions in California. Charles Usher wines are aged in French and American oak barrels.

Our mission is simple: To provide delicious wines that delight the palate. We strive to create full bodied wines with soft, smooth tannis. We take great pride in our commitment to produce high quality small lot wines at an attractive price.

Custom wines labels are available as an option for private and corporate events, holiday parties and gifts, weddings, birthdays, anniveraries, birth announcements, and customer appreciation.

Great Taste

There are 7 component wines in the Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet’s grapes are from different Alexander Valley vineyards The other 5 component red wines are from other appellations in California. This wine has a big mouth feel with layered complexity and smooth tannins.
